The good news
The Bible tells us that Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day, according to the Scriptures (1 Corinthians 15:3-4). On the cross, Jesus took the punishment our sins deserved, and by rising from the grave He opened the way to eternal life for all who trust in Him.
None of us could ever earn our way to God. Salvation is not a reward for the good we do. It is a free gift of God's grace, received through faith in the finished work of Jesus alone.
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast." Ephesians 2:8-9
Trust in the finished work of Jesus Christ and receive the free gift of eternal life. If you would like to know more about following Jesus, we would love to talk and pray with you.
Who we are
Five commitments shape the life and ministry of our church.
Harvest Baptist Church is built on the authority of God's Word. We are committed to accurately teaching and preaching the Scripture at every opportunity.
"Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path." Psalm 119:105
Our church is committed to integrating prayer into every aspect of our ministry, bringing every request to God with thanksgiving.
Philippians 4:6-7
The act of worship is not limited to singing on Sunday morning. True worship of God should be reflected in our lifestyle every day of the week.
Matthew 22:37
We are committed to following Christ's example and command by actively sharing the Gospel with our community and beyond.
Matthew 28:19-20
Based on the teaching of John 13, Acts 2, and Ephesians 2 and 4, believers are called to serve one another in the body of Christ, using the spiritual gifts God has given them.

Read Our BeliefsOur Pastor
Our pastor leads Harvest Baptist Church in the faithful preaching and teaching of God's Word, preaching the whole Bible from Genesis to Revelation. We invite you to learn more and to join us this Sunday.
Meet Our PastorFrom Genesis to Revelation
Some pulpits avoid the harder parts of Scripture. Some pastors will not preach from the Old Testament, and some will not touch the book of Revelation. At Harvest Baptist Church, Bro. Saul Petty preaches the entire Bible, Genesis to Revelation.
We believe all Scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for His people (2 Timothy 3:16). The prophetic books, the difficult passages, and the parts that are often skipped are all part of the whole counsel of God, and we will not hold them back.
"For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God." Acts 20:27
Join us this Sunday, or reach out with any questions. You are always welcome here.
